Oral history: Theoretical-methodological, conceptual and contextual approach

Resumo: | Understanding the importance of oral history and its use in the different genres of academic-scientific research was the guiding thread for questioning what it is, what it is for, when and how to use oral history in the investigative process of research? In view of this restlessness, it was aimed at providing the appropriate answers and understanding more more about oral history, its various approaches, as well as its multiple services in the field of research, especially in the field of human and social sciences. The exploratory-descriptive research method with a qualitative approach is used. Bibliographic method used. The contextual critical dialectical discourse used as analysis. The results, a priori, demonstrate oral history, its multiple serventias, depending on the gender of the research, functions as vital, inspiring and powerful sap for identification, voice and instead of social subjects who have been banned, obfuscated, deprived or destroyed from the historical process by the dominant guidelines. |

Diante desta inquietação, visou-se proporcionar às devidas respostas e compreender mais além sobre a história oral, suas diversas abordagens, bem como suas múltiplas serventias no âmbito das pesquisas, sobretudo na seara das ciências humanas e sociais. Usa-se o método de pesquisa exploratório-descritiva com abordagem qualitativa. Utilizou-se o método bibliográfico. Para as análises empregou-se o discurso dialético critico contextual.
