Content of physical education of secondary education in the state of Ceará: a documentary analysis

Resumo: The aim of this research was to analyze the curricular proposals of high schools in the backlands of Canindé, state of Ceará, Brasil. The initial questions start to understand the content contained in the proposals. To this end, we performed a documentary analysis of the curricular proposals of 16 high schools. With the help of iramuteq software. With that, it was possible to describe the contents in a quantitative way, and also a qualitative analysis of how curriculum proposals are constituted. The results show that contents related to physical fitness and health, as well as those related to sports practices, prevail in the curriculum of these schools. On the other hand, other contents such as fights and dances are less present in the proposals.

Os questionamentos iniciais partem para compreensão dos conteúdos contidos nas propostas. Para tanto, realizamos uma análise documental das propostas curriculares de 16 escolas de Ensino Médio. Com auxílio do software iramuteq. Com isso, foi possível descrever de modo quantitativo os conteúdos, e ainda uma análise qualitativa de como se constituem as propostas curriculares. Os resultados apontam que conteúdos relacionados a aptidão física e saúde, bem como os relacionados as práticas esportivas prevalecem no currículo dessas escolas.
