The ethical and moral care about cinema and television in Brazil

Resumo: In this article, a thinking is apprehended on how the concepts of ethics and morals over decades, in Brazil, were used in the name of an alleged quality in Cinema and Television, during the military regime, from 1964 to 1985, and after redemocratization, when successive ordinances of prior/indicative classification were issued by the Ministry of Justice, after the end of Federal Censorship. The sources of analysis for this article are newspaper articles, in addition to the Annual Reports of the Division of Public Entertainment Censorship (DCDP), from 1972 to 1987, among other documents, from the period of the military dictatorship, under the custody of the National Archive. The reflections are based on Spinoza's theory of affects and Deleuze's writings.
