Pandemic times and education at home, through screens

Resumo: The objective was to be able to discuss with students on the Master's and Doctorate in Education course, some from Brazil and others from Portugal, theories and pedagogical actions aimed at digital transformation in the context of a pandemic. To this end, the proposal was to carry out activities in which the method was the investigation of two missions, the first being Sherlock Holmes; and the second, MacGyver. Both are characters who seek to solve a certain problem. Likewise, the students were invited to star and temporarily assume the roles of these characters who were so successful with their stories and adventures around the world. The investigative field involved two state schools in Mato Grosso. We sought to know how the conditions for the possibility of classes were established during this period, a time not yet experienced by any of us. What was the role of digital technologies in the field of education, the way teachers, students and school staff experienced this unexpected moment for everyone? These and many other questions were present in the debates during the synchronous class meetings. The study showed that, although some teachers already adopt digital technologies in their practices, it is still not a reality in most Brazilian schools, either for reasons of logistics in the schools themselves, or due to the new responsibilities assumed with the return of face-to-face teaching.

Para tanto, a proposta foi a realização de atividades em que o método foi o investigativo de duas missões, sendo a primeira, a Sherlock Holmes; e a segunda, MacGyver. Ambos são personagens que buscam solucionar determinado problema. De igual modo, os alunos foram convidados a protagonizarem e assumir, temporariamente, os papéis desses personagens que fizeram tanto sucesso com suas histórias e aventuras no mundo inteiro. O campo investigativo envolveu duas escolas estadual do Mato Grosso. Buscou-se saber de que modo foram estabelecidas as condições de possibilidade das aulas durante este período, um tempo ainda não vivenciado por nenhum de nós. Qual foi o papel das tecnologias digitais no campo da educação, o modo como professores, alunos e equipe escolar vivenciaram este momento inesperado para todos? Estas e muitas outras indagações se fizeram presentes nos debates durante os encontros síncronos da turma.
