Resumo: | The purpose of this article is related to experiences in vocational education in prisons in the beauty segment. For this, a qualitative research with ethnographic orientation was developed. For the records of experiences as instructors in the segment of, the development was carried out through autobiographical report. The partial results indicate that the training of professionals in the beauty segment in the prison system needs a formative path and educational guidance for graduates in transforming lives through the new craft in spaces of beauty. At the end of this work, it was observed that the training of professionals in the beauty segment permeates basic education and social disparity with the unfolding of public policies covering the prison community as practices related to teaching and not limited to technical aspects. |

Para isso, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa qualitativa com orientação etnográfica. Para os registros das experiências como instrutor no segmento da beleza, o desenvolvimento foi realizado através de relato autobiográfico. Os resultados parciais indicam, que a formação do profissional no segmento da beleza no sistema carcerário necessita de percurso formativo e orientação educacional para os egressos na ânsia de transformação de vidas através do novo ofício em espaços de beleza.
