The Manifest of the Pioneers of New Education and Current Productive Education

Resumo: | Several political-pedagogical movements were part of the structuring process of the current education system in Brazil, among them, we can highlight the Manifest of the Pioneers of New Education, which is configured as an important reforming event. The proposals of the intellectuals who participated in the construction of this document were significantly relevant to the implementation of new socio-educational initiatives. This work aims to discuss the historical-political process of engendering this manifest and its problematizing elements that help us to reflect on current productivist education. For this qualitative theoretical construct, bibliographic studies concerning the theme were developed and reflective records were made about the guiding points of this research. Thus, it was learned that the history of Brazilian education was made up of many setbacks. However, it was also noticed that despite the imbalances present in this trajectory, the demands made by this movement were fundamental for the strengthening of a secular, mandatory, public and free education. |

As propostas dos intelectuais que participaram da construção desse documento foram expressivamente relevantes para a implementação de novas iniciativas socioeducativas. Este trabalho objetiva discutir o processo histórico-político de engendramento desse manifesto e seus elementos problematizadores que nos ajudam a refletir sobre a educação produtivista atual. Para este constructo de cunho teórico qualitativo, foram desenvolvidos estudos bibliográficos concernentes a temática e feitos registros reflexivos sobre os pontos norteadores dessa pesquisa. Destarte, foi apreendido que a história da educação brasileira se compôs de muitos contratempos.
