Resumo: | The objective of this work is to narrate and record some informal educational practices and survival strategies developed by individuals on the streets. Highlighting Valentina's experiences during her life trajectory between the street and the prison. Taking as a reference the infamous stories of the biographer who, over the years, surviving between prison and the street, learned to produce values and knowledge to protect himself from enemies that multiply ¬among his street colleagues, the victims of assault, the police and the State. The methodology adopted followed the criteria of an ethnographic approach, using direct observation techniques, semi-structured interview and analysis of narratives collected through oral history. Presenting homeless population profile in Fortaleza city, Ceará’s state, in Brazil, as a way to situate the discussion around the educational processes elaborated in the most hostile scenarios. |

Destacamos as experiências de Valentina durante sua trajetória entre a rua e o cárcere. Tomando como referência as histórias infames da biografada que, ao longo dos anos, sobrevivendo entre o cárcere e a rua, aprendeu a produzir e adquirir múltiplos saberes para proteger-se dos inimigos que se multiplicam entre os colegas de rua, as vítimas de assalto, a polícia e o Estado. A metodologia adotada seguiu os critérios de uma abordagem etnográfica, utilizamos técnicas de observação direta, entrevista semiestruturada e análise de narrativas colhidas por meio da história oral.
