Resumo: This work has a phaser proposal a cut on the teaching konowledge of Janusz Korczak, doctor and educator. His real name, Henryk Godsmit, born in Warsaw Poland, in the late 19th century. He wrote several works on education. He founded two orphanages to take children and Young people off the streets, offering education, health and a home for the homelles. As a pedagogical proposal, extract from practice and observation together with the respect and love for children the most apropriate resources to be applied.. He suffered the horrors of the holocausto as a jew and was executed whith 200 other children from the orphanage in the Treblinka exterination camp.The research is theoretical, bibliographical, qualitative under the focus of the state of knowledge. The general objective is to suggest the name of Korczak to be part of the bibliography in teacher education.

The general objective is to suggest the name of Korczak to be part of the bibliography in teacher education.Este trabalho tem como proposta fazer um recorte sobre os saberes docentes de Janusz Korczak, médico e pedagogo, cujo verdadeiro nome é Henryk Goldsmit Nascido em Varsóvia, Polônia, em finais do século XI, escreveu várias obras sobre educação e fundou dois orfanatos para tirar as crianças e jovens da rua, propondo educação, saúde e um lar para os desabrigados. Como proposta pedagógica, extraía da prática e observação, junto ao respeito e amorosidade para com as crianças, os recursos mais apropriados para serem aplicados. Sofreu os horrores do holocausto por ser judeu e foi executado com outras 200 crianças do orfanato, no campo de extermínio de Treblinka.  A pesquisa é de caráter teórico interpretativa, sendo bibliográfica e de abordagem qualitativa.
