Continuing education in the school context enabling teaching praxis

Resumo: The research aimed to know the contributions of the continuing education carried out in the school for the development of the teaching professional identity. The study has a qualitative approach, it was developed through a case study, which had the participation of two pedagogical coordinators and two teachers from a school in the municipal network of Fortaleza. The results revealed that coordinators and teachers understand that training in context enables the construction of teaching praxis, as it favors moments of reflection on everyday life, dealing with specifics of the school context. It is concluded that training in the locus of the school is loaded with possibilities of construction and reconstruction of pedagogical practice through the collective process of reflection on action.

O estudo tem uma abordagem qualitativa, foi desenvolvido por meio de estudo de caso, que contou com a participação de duas coordenadoras pedagógicas e duas professoras de uma escola da rede municipal de fortaleza. Os resultados revelaram que coordenadoras e professoras compreendem que a formação em contexto possibilita a construção da práxis docente, pois favorece momentos de reflexão sobre o cotidiano tratando especificidades do contexto escolar.
