This work intends to analyze the perception of teachers and school managers in the face of the COVID 19 pandemic scenario. The considerations presented here arise from remote meetings entitled "Dialogues on the challenges of Public Education Policies in times of Pandemic", which complemented the reflections on Public Policies of Education in times of pandemic, introduced by the study of the work, A cruel pedagogy of the Virus, by Boaventura Santos Sousa. What emerged from these meetings reflected the anxieties of education professionals in the face of isolation, as well as the need to reinvent themselves while taking hold of new technological expedients to try to alleviate the negative impacts of the pandemic on schooling virtual.
