The Protagonism of the Senzala Group in Capoeira in Fortaleza and Teresina (1980–1990)

Resumo: This article aims to understand the connections and interlocutors that characterize Grupo Senzala's role in the universe of Capoeira in Teresina and Fortaleza, between the years 1980 and 1990. This work is justified by sharing memories of the capoeiristas who collaborated in the construction of Local capoeira in their cities. For developing this qualitative research, we opted for ethnographic immersion, supported by memory, captured in the midst of videos made available on social networks in the pandemic period and other means collected throughout the authors' personal trajectory. At the end of this work, connections and interlocutors between groups of capoeiristas in the cities under study were observed.

Esse trabalho justifica-se por compartilhar memórias dos capoeiristas que colaboraram na construção da Capoeira local em suas cidades. Para o desenvolvimento dessa pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, optou-se pela imersão etnográfica, com suporte na memória, captada em meio aos vídeos disponibilizados em redes sociais no período pandêmico e outros meios angariados ao longo da trajetória pessoal dos autores.
