Educational policies aimed at the black population

Resumo: The general objective of the present work was to analyze the advances and setbacks in educational policies related to the black population. We unveiled part of the challenges faced by educational policies and made a historical approach to the past of the black population, showing what rights have been acquired over the years. The research was bibliographical in nature, using books, articles, documents and official websites such as the Ministry of Education and Culture and the National Institute for Studies and Research. The study of educational policies indicates that the permanence of the black population in public education is fragile and that, although there are achievements such as the quota policy, the insertion and permanence of this population still consists of a challenge.

Desvelamos parte dos desafios percorridos pelas políticas educacionais e fizemos uma abordagem histórica do passado da população negra, mostrando quais foram os direitos adquiridos ao longo dos anos. Foi realizada uma pesquisa de cunho bibliográfico, na qual utilizamos livros, artigos, documentos e sites oficiais, como Ministério da Educação e Cultura e Instituto Nacional de Estudo e Pesquisas.
