Understandings about social representations and racism in contemporary times

Resumo: | This article analyzes the social representations present in contemporary society, in order to understand what differentiates the representativeness associated with the possibility of expressing ideas, decisions of a given social class. We seek to understand how society is structured in relation to racism, and how this is fundamental for the construction of the child's identity. The methodology was configured by the qualitative approach of the bibliographic type, from authors who discuss the theme Moscovici (2015), in the field of Social Representations and Almeida and Ribeiro (2019) , for discussion on Structural Racism. The analysis reveals the relevance of Social Representations given the contextualization of its concept. We interpret several situations that can be observed the structural racism impregnated in society. Moreover, it was possible to perceive how black representativeness is necessary to construct the child's identity, evidencing the importance of this work for the discussion and analysis of racial discrimination. |

Buscamos entender como a sociedade é estruturada em relação ao racismo, e como isso é fundamental para a construção da identidade da criança. A metodologia se configurou pela abordagem qualitativa do tipo bibliográfica, a partir de autores que discutem a temática Moscovici (2015), no campo das Representações Sociais de Almeida e Ribeiro (2019), para discussão sobre o Racismo Estrutural. A análise revela a relevância das Representações Sociais dado à contextualização do seu conceito. Interpretamos diversas situações que podem ser observadas o racismo estrutural impregnado na sociedade. Ademais, foi possível perceber como a representatividade negra é necessária para construção da identidade da criança, evidenciando a importância deste trabalho para a discussão e análise da discriminação racial.
