Education and pandemic: impacts on literacy student learning

Resumo: With the onset of the pandemic, educational institutions were forced to interrupt their face-to-face activities and adapt to remote care. In this situation, thousands of students, in the literacy phase, started to develop their activities in the home environment. In this context, this study sought to analyze how the practice has been configured under the articulation and direct responsibility of parents/guardians, since the mediation and pedagogical presence of the teacher has become distant, what are the impacts on the learning of students in the construction process reading and writing, and what are the biggest difficulties families have faced. For this purpose, qualitative research was used as a methodological procedure, using an open questionnaire as a collection procedure, aimed at parents of students in the 1st year of elementary school. The results showed that the learning of many children is at risk and that it will be necessary to think about policies that represent the planning of recovery strategies.

Na conjuntura, milhares de estudantes, em fase de alfabetização, passaram a desenvolver suas atividades escolares na ambiência domiciliar. Assim, este estudo procurou analisar como tem se configurado a prática sob a articulação e responsabilidade imediata dos pais/responsáveis, já que a mediação e presença pedagógica do professor tornou-se distanciada, quais são os impactos na aprendizagem dos educandos em processo de construção da leitura e da escrita, e quais os maiores percalços as famílias têm enfrentado. Neste intento, utilizou-se como procedimento metodológico a pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando como técnica de coleta um questionário aberto, direcionado a pais de alunos do 1° ano do ensino fundamental.
