Resumo: This is an experience report of the collective work carried out between the disciplines of physical education and art education in a municipal school in Porto Alegre. In an attempt to break with the Eurocentric structure of the school that isolates the subjects in their boxes, we seek to build experiences of a collective work that aims at a more humanizing education that makes sense for students. We sought to establish an education that reflects ethnic, racial and gender issues. In this perspective, the text presents the projects “Beautiful, modest and home - but not” and “Batucação”.

Na tentativa de romper com a estrutura eurocêntrica da escola que isola as disciplinas em suas caixas, buscamos a construção de experiencias de um trabalho coletivo que tem como objetivo uma educação mais humanizadora e que faça sentido para as alunas e alunos. Procurou-se estabelecer uma educação que reflita as questões étnico raciais e de gênero.
