Resumo: In recent years, the debate on inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities has mobilized researchers, educators and managers. However, for inclusive education to become a reality, it is essential that we rethink teacher training, teaching methodologies and evaluation processes. That said, the present work aims to provide an experience report about our immersion in three public schools in Fortaleza, through the supervised internship of the Degree in Social Sciences course at the State University of Ceará. As a methodology, ethnographically inspired participant observation was used. In addition to the observations, workshops and dialogued expository classes were held as an integral part of the internship activities. As a discussion and results of this experience report, when we reflect on the activities carried out in schools, we see the centrality of teaching Sociology in the public network as a promoter of the rights of young people and people with disabilities.

No entanto, para que a educação inclusiva se torne uma realidade, é imprescindível repensarmos a formação de professores/as, as metodologias de ensino e os processos avaliativos. Dito isto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo trazer um relato de experiência sobre a nossa imersão em três escolas públicas de Fortaleza, através do estágio supervisionado do curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Sociais da Universidade Estadual do Ceará. Como metodologia, foi utilizada a observação participante de inspiração etnográfica. Além das observações, foram realizadas oficinas e aulas expositivas dialogadas como parte integrante das atividades de estágio.
