Resumo: | The teaching of the disciplines of History and Geography is very important for all individuals, especially for children of elementary school - Early Years. Therefore, we aimed to analyze the importance of the disciplines mentioned in Elementary School - Initial Years of basic education, also presenting some difficulties reported by teachers in teaching them, in the classes that make up this stage, due to the various external evaluations. It is, therefore, a qualitative research, characterized as a case study, developed in the disciplines of History Teaching and Geography Teaching, with conclusion in the discipline of Research and Pedagogical Practice IV, of the pedagogy course, having as universe the city of Million-CE. With support in the bibliographic and documentary survey, with emphasis on the studies of BARROS (2010), PABIS (2012), ALMEIDA, MARTINS, BORTOLOTI (2016), among others, as well as the reports collected by teachers. We want to contribute to future research, as well as to teachers and trainees. |

Diante disso,objetivamos analisar a importância das disciplinas citadas no Ensino Fundamental - Anos Iniciais da educação básica, apresentando, também, algumas dificuldades relatadas pelos professores em ministrá-las, nas turmas que compõem essa etapa, em decorrência das diversas avaliações externas. Trata-se, portanto, de uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo,caracterizado como estudo de casos, desenvolvida nas disciplinas de Ensino de História e Ensino de Geografia, com conclusão na disciplina de Pesquisa e Prática Pedagógica IV, do curso de pedagogia, tendo como universo a cidade de Milhã-CE.Com amparo no levantamento bibliográfico e documental, com destaque os estudos de BARROS (2010), PABIS (2012), ALMEIDA, MARTINS, BORTOLOTI (2016), entre outros, assim como os relatos colhidos pelos docentes.
