School reinforcement: the use of games in the teaching-learning process

Resumo: The tutoring learning environment is a propitious space for the use of varied methodologies that can help in the educational process and in the recovery of contents. The school reinforcement was carried out in a home environment with a student of the 5th year of Elementary School. The experience of playing provides a pleasant learning, which helps in the construction of significant knowledge. The objective was to evaluate the contentes considered difficult, the student’s way of studying and how the game helps in the teaching-learning process. In these observations, the lack of interest in the contents due to the lack of playful materials was perceived. Tic-tac-toe, geometric sudoku, tangram and the board game were used.A greater understanding of the topics covered was perceived after using the games.The experience of tutoring was great, making it possible to dive into didactic games, as well as reflection on the teaching and learning process.

O reforço escolar foi realizado em ambiente domiciliar com uma aluna do 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental. A experiência do jogar proporciona uma aprendizagem prazerosa, que auxilia na construção de conhecimentos significativos. Objetivou-se avaliar os conteúdos considerados difíceis, a forma de estudo da aluna e como o jogo auxilia no processo de ensino- aprendizagem. Nestas observações foram percebidas a falta de interesse pelos conteúdos por carência de materiais lúdicos. Utilizou-se do jogo da velha, sudoku geométrico, tangram e o jogo de tabuleiro. Foi percebida uma maior compreensão dos assuntos abordados após a utilização dos jogos.
