The Place of Physical Education in The New High School of Ceará

Resumo: The coup that ousted Dilma Roussef from the presidency, education in the country underwent regulatory reforms adapting to business interests. In this context, Ceará created its Curricular Guidelines References-DCRC in High School. Thus, Physical Education has always fought for its legitimation and legalization and the school context could not be left out. With that, we raise the following question: what is its place in the DCRC of Ceará in High School? General objective: to understand the place of Physical Education in the DCRC, considering the BNCC and the High School reform. Supported by dialectical historical materialism, documentary research was carried out. This analysis observed a setback: the understanding of the object of knowledge solely as language, its curricular subordination, conditioning its knowledge to the acquisition of skills and abilities, hegemony of sports, biologicist discourses, evaluation processes based on experimentation. Finally, these reforms affected all of education in the country, promoting a business model that meets capitalist aspirations.

Nesse contexto, o Ceará criou, o Documento Curricular Referencial do Ceará (DCRC) do Ensino Médio. Destarte, a Educação Física sempre lutou pela sua legitimação e legalização e o contexto escolar não poderia ficar de fora. Com isso, levantamos a seguinte questão: qual o seu lugar nas DCRC do Ceará no Ensino Médio? Objetivo geral: compreender o lugar da Educação Física no DCRC, considerando a BNCC e a reforma do Ensino Médio. Apoiado no materialismo histórico dialético, realizou-se pesquisa documental. Essa análise, observou um retrocesso: o entendimento do objeto de conhecimento unicamente como linguagem, sua subalternização curricular, condicionando seus conhecimentos à aquisição de competências e habilidades, hegemonia dos esportes, discursos biologicistas, processos de avaliação baseado em experimentação.
