Resumo: This paper tells about Design and Technology and it has a central object the design of brands oriented to digital media. The objective is to analyze how digital technology and social and cultural aspects affect the processes of creating brands and visual identities, especially with the increasing use of smartphones. From a theoretical point of view, the assumptions of the knowledge society, the information society, complex systems and graphic design thinking are used. As a methodological strategy, we are guided by exploratory and qualitative research to highlight processes and propositions in design that articulate with the digital immersion and adaptability of this time.

Do ponto de vista teórico, utiliza-se os pressupostos da sociedade do conhecimento, da sociedade da informação, dos sistemas complexos e do graphic design thinking.
