Resumo: The waste from the furniture industry generates a great ecological impact. It is necessary to guide reuse methodologies, especially the MDF powder, to reduce material waste by the industry. The general objective of this work was to demonstrate the possibility of using MDF powder combined with vegetable resin to produce a composite. This article summarizes the findings and points to the performance of new tests with the material and a general evaluation of production costs.

Faz-se necessária a orientação de metodologias de reaproveitamento, sobretudo do pó de MDF, a fim de reduzir o desperdício de material pela indústria. O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi demonstrar a possibilidade de se utilizar o pó de MDF combinado a resina vegetal para produzir um compósito.
