Resumo: The aim of this paper is the analysis and evaluation of apps interface that help in color visualization with emphasis on colorblindness. Method: in the first stage, the analysis of app and heuristic evaluation was done. The second stage, involved investigating how designers could use an app to turn color palette more accessible. Results showed the need to improve the usability of apps in terms of legibility, visual display and error diagnosis. In addition, designer’s will to use an app to turn color palette more accessible was positive.

Método: na primeira etapa, a análise dos aplicativos disponíveis e a avaliação heurística dos mesmos foi realizada. Na sequência, a segunda etapa versou na investigação de como os designers poderiam usar um aplicativo para tornar uma paleta de cores mais acessível. Resultados revelaram a necessidade de aprimorar a usabilidade dos aplicativos de cores quanto: legibilidade; apresentação visual e diagnostico de erros.
