A systemic approach to the design of bilingual digital educational resources (Libras/Portuguese)

Resumo: In designing bilingual educational resources (Libras/Portuguese) for deaf students, designers find themselves in a complex system involving a multidisciplinary team: multimedia producers, teachers, translators and deaf users. The objective of this work is to explain the systemic thinking in the project activities, mapping the existing relationships in the production of the bilingual educational materials in the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC/Palhoça), Brazil. We employ a descriptive and qualitative approach, in which data collection was performed through a semi-structured interview. Results point to the need for a systemic view from all of the members involved in the process – the reason why we present a systemic diagram that allows a comprehensive visualization of the project for the designing of bilingual educational resources.

O objetivo deste trabalho é explicitar o pensamento sistêmico nas atividades de projeto, mapeando as relações existentes na produção de materiais didáticos bilíngues do IFSC Palhoça. Assume-se uma abordagem descritiva, qualitativa, em que a coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de entrevista semiestruturada.
