Resumo: In the face of environmental, economic and socio-cultural crises is evident the necessity of revise the existing patterns of production, distribution and consumption in the food sector. This study aims to present the benefits of Methodology of Product Service System (MEPSS) in order to generate systemic solutions to the act of cooking in a sustainable way. As a result, the proposed solution reduces the material content needed to satisfy customer needs competitively and with lower environmental impact over the life cycle. The expansion of the field of design brings new opportunities to develop systemic solutions, emphasizing the study of PSS as a practical means to achieve better projects results.

No presente estudo utiliza-se o método MEPSS para o desenvolvimento de um Sistema Produto+Serviço (PSS) com o objetivo de gerar soluções sistêmicas para o ato de cozinhar sustentável. Como resultado, a solução proposta reduz o conteúdo material necessário para o atendimento da unidade de satisfação.
