Resumo: In the period from to 1935 to 1990 a serological survey of Toxoplasma gondii infection in 254 dogs with clinic signs of toxoplasmosis, was conducted using indirect immunofluorescence technique. The percentages of positive sera were 75,98% with titles ranging from 16 to 65536. The prevalence in relation to age was: up to 1 year, 67,02%; 1 to 7 years, 80,45%; over 7 years, 35,18%. These results showed that the infection has been disseminated in our environment, but in an underestimated way when evaluated only by clinic surveys.

These results showed that the infection has been disseminated in our environment, but in an underestimated way when evaluated only by clinic surveys. UEL1992-01-13info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://ojs.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/semagrarias/article/view/460510.5433/1679-0359.1992v13n1p66Semina: Ciências Agrárias; Vol. 13 No. 1 (1992); 66-69Semina: Ciências Agrárias; v. 13 n. 1 (1992); 66-691679-03591676-546Xreponame:Semina.
