Resumo: | The analysis of 889 samples of faeces from dogs of various races and ages was carried out at the Veterinary Hospital of the State University of Londrina, from January 1982 to December 1992. The techniques of WILLIS (1927) and HOFFMAN, PONS & JANER (1934) were utilised and the following kinds of helminthosis observed: Ancylostoma spp (39,82%), Toxocara spp (13,72%), Trichuris spp (6,74%) and Dipylidium spp (3,82%>). There was a significant difference (P Foram examinadas 889 amostras de fezes provenientes de cães de diferentes raças e faixas etárias, atendidos pelo Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Estadual de Londrina, no período de Janeiro de 1982 a Dezembro de 1992. Utilizando-se as técnicas de Willis (1927) e Hoffman, Pons & Janer (1934), observaram-se os seguintes gêneros de helmintos: Ancylostoma spp (39,82%), Toxocara spp (13,72%), Trichuris spp (6,74%) e Dipylidium spp (3,82%). Os dados foram analisados quanto a faixa etária, definição racial e raça daqueles com perfeita definição racial, e distribuição de acordo com os meses do ano.
