Resumo: | The article analyzes the agro-oriented initiatives that took place in a marginal area of the Pampean region (Argentina) at the beginning of the 1950s in the context of the “return to the field” implemented by Juan Domingo Perón. The theme is addressed with regional information for illuminate a little-explored aspect: the agroecological problem that affected an extensive area in the center of the country. The analysis, focusing on La Pampa, named until then Eva Perón, will explain the results and limitations of state actions in a new province, lacking in complex industrial scaffolding, with consolidated bureaucratic structure and technicians with expertise to define the agricultural policy. |

Al focalizar en La Pampa, llamada entonces Eva Perón, se explicarán resultados y limitaciones del accionar estatal en una provincia nueva, carente de andamiaje industrial complejo, de estructura burocrática consolidada y de técnicos con expertise para definir política agropecuaria.O artigo analisa as iniciativas orientadas ao agro que se realizaram em uma zona marginal da região pampeana (Argentina) a começos dos anos cinquenta no contexto do “regresso ao campo” implementada por Juan Domingo Perón.
