Resumo: Towards the end of the nineteenth century, and because of the massive presence of immigrants in Argentina, particularly in some provinces, such as Santa Fe, sought to use education as a means of nationalization, giving in this process a significant role to the teaching of History.This article analyses the history texts produced in this context by three intellectuals of Santa Fe, closely linked to the education system, and considers the objectives wanted by undertaking the writing of memory into three different levels: the nation, the province, and the city.
