Teacher’s mediation in literature readers in training: official and academic speechesA mediação do professor no ensino de literatura: os discursos oficiais e acadêmicosLiteratureTeacherMediationReaderLiteraturaProfessorMediaçãoLeitorPublic and private campaigns to encourage reading, the increase in academic research and book publications and periodicals allocating spaces to discuss the formation of readers and literature teach in school and beyond, has supported the effort and stay for the construction of the fostering proposals of reading in Brazil. Also, this direction, public policy has been intensifying and taking advantage of everyone’s commitment to present new paradigms to the concepts and practices of reading in school, causing the reorganization in traditional routines of literature teaching in the curriculum and in classroom activities and, above all, training and teacher praxis. Thus, reflecting on this context of changes in the school, the literature teaching and especially the role that the teacher should admit on the need to form readers, this article intends to show how the oficial and scholars speeches explicit the “new” teacher`s function when assume the role of mediator and articulator of the reading literary at school.
