Resumo: Lost world II: the end of the third world, by Márcio Souza, creates a metafictional environment that shows the Amazon and her apparition on literature. The author explains that in an interview he talks about write the continuation of The lost world, by Conan Doyle, so he must write the book. In the narrative, beyond the fictional element, the reader can realize reflections about writing, characters, plot, intertextuality.
