Reader’s approach to ficcional text: a reading of Lygia Bojunga Nunes’ Angélica

Resumo: This article analyses Lygia Bojunga Nunes’ Angélica (1975). In compliance to the reader-response criticism and, specifically, the aesthetic response theory, widely spread by Wolfgang Iser, we verified how the authoress carries the reader, motivating him/ her to produce the textual connections in suspense, by using stories within story, suspense and temporal games.
