Resumo: Classifications of individuals strictly defined through discrete memberships are considered to tend not to allow the empirical analysis of heterogeneity present in populations. This article analyzes the heterogeneity of youth social vulnerability under an empirical perspective. In order to do that, we use the Grade of Membership method, which is distinct from the other quantitative research methods that do not allow incorporating the heterogeneity at the individual level in the analysis process.

Este artigo analisa a heterogeneidade da vulnerabilidade social das juventudes sob uma perspectiva empírica.
