City images: collective memory in Londrina

This article, in addition to presenting the experiences of a research and extension project, developed by an interdisciplinary group of professors and academics from the State University of Londrina from different areas of knowledge (Anthropology, Architecture, Political Science, History and Sociology), discusses important theoretical and methodological aspects that involve cultural policy actions, as well as work with Cultural Heritage in the northern region of Paraná, especially in the city of Londrina. In this sense, important discussions emerge about theoretical categories such as culture, heritage, preservation, memory, representations, imagery, identity, combined with field research and the use of methodological procedures, which contemplate both the study of daily life and the use of oral history. , and which are currently being objects of new reflections, such as the Research Project: "Londrina - images of the city", developed by the authors of this work.
