The ENEM Under Surveillance: The Questions Checking Commission and the Human Sciences Tests during Bolsonaro Government

Resumo: The National High School Exam (ENEM), the main form of access to higher education in Brazil, organizes its questions by areas of knowledge. Since 2009, the Human Sciences test also includes the Sociology component.Since then, some researchers analyzed how this subjectwas demanded until 2018.In the Bolsonaro government, the tests of all ENEM's areas of knowledge showed the specificity of having been composed after inspection by a commission created by the federal government, which, in practice, approved and disapproved questions for ideological reasons. The general objective of this article is to analyze the impacts of the Bolsonaro government on the process of elaboration and application of the ENEM, including the possible consequences of this censorship for the presence of Sociology in the exam. This is done by studying, specifically, the work of this commission and the Human Sciences exams from 2019 to 2021.For this purpose, the methodology used is documental analysis, of official reports and ENEM tests.

Desde 2009, la prueba de Ciencias Humanísticas también incluye un componente de Sociología. A partir de entonces, algunos investigadores analizaron cómo se cobró esta disciplina hasta 2018. Durante el gobierno de Bolsonaro, las pruebas en todas las áreas tenían la particularidad de haber sido compuestas tras la inspección del Banco Nacional de Artículos por una comisión creada por el gobierno federal. que, en la práctica, aprobaba y desaprobaba preguntas por motivos ideológicos. El objetivo general de este artículo es analizar los impactos del gobierno de Bolsonaro en el proceso de elaboración y aplicación del ENEM, incluyendo las posibles consecuencias de esta censura para la presencia de Sociología en el examen, que se realiza estudiando específicamente el trabajo de dicha comisión y las pruebas de Ciencias Humanas de 2019 a 2021. Para ello, la metodología utilizada es el análisis de documentos, informes oficiales y libros de preguntas del ENEM.O Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM), a principal forma de acesso ao ensino superior no Brasil, organiza suas questões por áreas de conhecimento. A prova de Ciências Humanas inclui, desde 2009, também o componente de Sociologia. A partir de então, alguns pesquisadores analisaram a maneira como essa disciplina foi cobrada até 2018. No governo Bolsonaro, as provas de todas as áreas apresentaram a particularidade de terem sido compostas depois da inspeção ao Banco Nacional de Itens por uma comissão criada pelo governo federal, que, na prática, aprovou e reprovou questões por motivos ideológicos. O objetivo geral deste artigo é analisar os impactos do governo Bolsonaro no processo de elaboração e aplicação do ENEM, inclusive as possíveis consequências dessa censura para a presença da Sociologia no exame, o que é realizado estudando especificamente o trabalho de tal comissão e as provas de Ciências Humanas de 2019 a 2021.
