Resumo: The municipality of Campinas is recognized for its mental health care network built in partnership with the Dr. Cândido Ferreira Health Service (SSCF). The anthropological literature on research ethics points to a relation of submission of the way of doing ethnography the biomedical norms that base the evaluation of researches of the human sciences in health institutions. The purpose of the article is to show the authorization process for the realization of my field research no Serviço Residencial Terapêutico (SRT), managed by SSCF. With this, I present the current problematic about research ethics, the negotiations of the beginning of my field research, and how the production of an anthropological knowledge is determined in an ethical relationship with the research interlocutors.

La literatura antropológica sobre ética de la investigación apunta a una relación de sometimiento de la forma de hacer etnografía a las normas biomédicas que subyacen la evaluación de la investigación en ciencias humanas en instituciones de salud. El objetivo del artículo es mostrar el proceso de autorización para realizar mi investigación en el Servicio Terapéutico Residencial (SRT), gestionado por la SSCF. Con eso, Les presento el tema actual de la ética de la investigación, las negociaciones del inicio de mi investigación de campo y cómo la producción de conocimiento antropológico es determinada por una relación ética con los interlocutores de la investigación.O município de Campinas é reconhecido por sua Rede de assistência em saúde mental construída em parceria com o Serviço de Saúde Dr. Cândido Ferreira (SSCF). A literatura antropológica sobre ética em pesquisa aponta para uma relação de submissão do modo de fazer etnografia às normas biomédicas que fundamentam a avaliação de pesquisas das ciências humanas em instituições de saúde. O objetivo do artigo é mostrar o processo de autorização para a realização de minha pesquisa de campo no Serviço Residencial Terapêutico (SRT), gerido pelo SSCF.
