Resumo: In this article we are going to analyse some life experiences of "paulistas" afro-descendants developed in the urban area during the post abolition period. Our goal is to analyse different sociability forms, and works relations between members of the black community and the rest of population. The choice the State of São Paulo was made due to its economical importance and larger contingent of European immigrants.
