Resumo: | The purpose of this study is to analyze the construction and the representation of conversational strategies in the human communication. Thus a fictional dialogue is chosen to show how two speakers alternately use similar linguistic devices to achieve different ends. This study is also centered on the discussion of the relationship between the representation and the reality with notions about interaction and power. In this context, we intend to understand the meanings produced by people during the interaction process. For this study, we use parts of the fictional dialogue Hora de dormir written by Fernando Sabino in 1972. In the analysis of our corpus, constituted by some discursive sequences that show social practices and contexts, we examined meanings that can represent a natural conversation. We conclude this article by stating that the speakers have infinite communication possibilities to achieve their targets during the interaction. Conversational strategies are used to show that. |
