Resumo: | This paper aims at presenting an analysis on the reader’s role in creating the meaning and experience of a literary work. We will discuss how much the definition of a text depends on the reader’s role rather than on the autor’s intention, and how the distance between the reader and the text from different cultural backgrounds contributes to the process of creating meaning. |
