Resumo: In the past two decades, research on humor has been growing and is gaining new advocates. Researchers from the most diverse scientific fields have been addressing issues related to humor, adding to the classical theories of Freud and Bergson, new approaches that focus on different aspects, either linguistic, sociological, historical, psychological or philosophical.
