Resumo: | The so-called 'Post-Photography' is a concept developed by Fontcuberta (2011, 2012) for understanding the visual phenomena of the digital era, including the 'Selfie' genre, both in its production and in its use. However, it is not always possible to identify in the result of this genre a deliberate intention to question the limits of photographic meaning. Thus, the Selfie's analysis seems to have greater affinity with a psychic reason than with a possible theory of communication, its particular characteristics being the result of psychological intentions. From this approach, the present work will analyze the phenomenon based on Jungian psychology, which we believe offers ontological tools for the understanding of the phenomenon in its intrinsic reason: us |
