Resumo: Cyber evolution does not bring changes only in economic, political, social and cultural terms, it also permeates the legal scenario. Cyberspace, once known as a place of communication and interaction, becomes also as an enabling environment management of conflicts. This article analyzes the new form of dispute resolution, known as Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), which acts as a complementary means of resolving parallel dispute to the judiciary and ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolutions) and promises to give more rapid and effective responses to information society. This article adopts the deductive method of approach and documentary and bibliography research as a research technique.

De tal forma que, o ciberespaço, outrora conhecido como espaço de comunicação e interação, passa a ser compreendido também como um ambiente facilitador do gerenciamento dos conflitos. Este artigo analisa um novo instrumento de resolução de disputas, conhecida como Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), que funciona como um meio complementar de resolução de controvérsias paralelo ao Poder Judiciário e às ADRs (Alternative Dispute Resolutions) e promete dar respostas mais rápidas e efetivas à sociedade de informação.
