Resumo: This article analyzes the scenario of technological revolution concentrated in information and communication technologies that remodeled the material base of society at an accelerated pace, from the end of the 20th century, but especially the effects of algorithms and Artificial Intelligences, in technological applications of the legal system, especially with regard to its use by the Judiciary, since from the 1990s onwards, when the internet became popular and there was a vertiginous and progressive increase in the number of claims in process, which it ends up resulting in delays in processing and judging such demands. For this reason, in order to overcome this challenging reality resulting from the progressive growth in the volume of lawsuits in progress, a critical scenario that affects the Brazilian Judiciary, it has pondered and sought out the most diverse solutions. This is how the use of information technologies, especially algorithms and Artificial Intelligences for the law (currently called "Lawtechs"), has been considered and carried out in the Judiciary, as a technological alternative to assist in matters pertaining to the judicial system.
