Resumo: In this work, it is intended to face objectively a matter that has generated not only controversies as concrete problems of difficult solution: the active legitimacy "ad causam" to actions aiming homogeneous individual interest’s defense. And, to such reason, the study of the essential characteristics of these actions started to be a relevant matter its correct use.

E, por tal razón, el estudio de las características esenciales de estas acciones comenzara ser sustancia extremadamente importante para su uso correcto.Neste trabalho, pretende-se enfrentar rápida e objetivamente uma questão que tem gerado não só polêmicas como principalmente problemas concretos de difícil solução: a legitimidade ativa "ad causam" para ações visando a defesa de interesses individuais homogêneos.
