Resumo: | This work analyses the historical evolution of the State starting from its presence in the economic activity and considering to what extent such an intervention depends on the political-economic context. It examines globalization as a multifaceted phenomenon that results in commercial flow with worldwide proportions, in the emergence of new international actors and in the acceleration process of interdependence of such actors. This paper also considers that the division of attributions and the restructuring of the State’s role in international trade does not imply in the belief that it is not necessary for trade; on the contrary, such elements should converge to the State’s advantage for its own maintenance and for the achievement of its objectives in a balanced way. |
