Resumo: Objective: Considering the growing importance of Industry 4.0, this article aimed to identify, through scientific publications, challenges and opportunities for knowledge management and information technology to create value in Industry 4.0. Methodology: A qualitative, exploratory-descriptive and bibliographical research was undertaken, in order to discuss the scientific contributions of the researched constructs. Results: As a result, opportunities and challenges were listed for value creation in Industry 4.0, knowledge management and information technologies. Subsequently, some future research guidelines were identified. Conclusions: Current Industry 4.0 environments need to focus on managing knowledge assets.

Resultados: Como resultado, se enumeraron oportunidades y desafíos para la creación de valor en la Industria 4.0, la gestión del conocimiento y las tecnologías de la información. Posteriormente, se identificaron algunas pautas de investigación futuras.Conclusiones: los entornos actuales de la Industria 4.0 deben centrarse en la gestión de los activos de conocimiento.Objetivo: Considerando a crescente importância da Indústria 4.0 este artigo objetivou identificar, por meio de publicações científicas, desafios e oportunidades para gestão do conhecimento e tecnologia da informação para criação de valor na Indústria 4.0. Metodologia: Foi empreendida uma pesquisa qualitativa, exploratório-descritiva e bibliográfica, por discutir as contribuições cientificas dos construtos pesquisados.Resultados: Por resultado, foram elencados oportunidades e desafios, para criação de valor na Indústria 4.0, do gerenciamento do conhecimento e tecnologias da informação. Posteriormente, foram identificadas algumas orientações de pesquisa futuras.
