Resumo: | Introduction: Management of Contemporary Organizationdemands appropriate managerial tools at your time. Those tools are available to the manager of units ofinformation and they are can be applied onmanagement of thistype of organizationsystem.Objective: Introduced the concepts of intrapreneurship and empowerment as the principalelements of the climate as to as necessary to the development of the entrepreneur spirit.Methodology: The data collection instrument was a questionnaire. It was applied in staffof university library in 2010 and 36% of questionnaire was answered in a total populationof 56 subjects.Results: The results allowedto infer that, of a total of ten entrepreneur characteristic’s, threeof them (establishment of goals, calculated risks and persuasion and nets of contacts) were considered aboutweak points in the analyzed group. The verification that theresearched professionals have, in the level grupal, favorable positive degree to theentrepreneurship -with 70% of personal entrepreneurial positive characteristic’s suggeststhat the same ones can aid in the innovation of the unit of information if the managerscreatea favorable atmosphere to intrapreneurship with relationship to theorganizational climate, this was considered favorable to the implementation effective of theempowerment.Conclusions: The final conclusions reveal that the unit of information can win with theapplication of the empowerment, in that way can promote the entrepreneur spirit, beingopen for cultural changes heading for an Enterprising Administration. |

Esas herramientas están disponibles al gestor de las unidades de información e pueden ser aplicadas en la gestión de ese tipo de sistema organizacional.Objetivo: Presentar los conceptos de intraemprendedorismo y de empowermentcomo los principales elementos del clima organizacional necesarios al desarrollo del espíritu emprendedor.Metodología: El instrumento de coleta de datos fue el cuestionario, aplicado a los servidores de una biblioteca universitaria en 2010. 36% de los cuestionarios fueran contestados en un universo de 56 personas.Resultados: Los resultados permiten inferir que, de un total de diez características emprendedoras, tres de ellas (establecimiento de metas, riesgos calculados y persuasión y redes de contactos) fueron consideradas como puntos frágiles en el grupo analizado. La constatación de que los profesionales investigados tienen, en el nivel grupal, grado positivo favorable al emprendedorismo–teniendo 70% de las características emprendedoras personales positivas sugiere que los mismos pueden auxiliar en la innovación de la unidad de información si los gestores criaren un ambiente favorable al intraemprendedorismo.Cuanto al clima organizacional, este fue considerado favorable a la implementación del empowerment.Conclusiones: Las conclusiones finales revelan que la unidad de información puede ser beneficiada con la aplicación del empowerment, de forma a promover el espíritu emprendedor, estando abierta para cambios culturales rumo a una Administración Emprendedora. Introdução: A gestão das organizações contemporâneas exige ferramentas gerenciais adequadas ao seu tempo. Essas ferramentas estão disponíveis ao gestor de unidades de informação e podem ser aplicadas na gestão desse tipo de sistema organizacional.Objetivo: Apresentaros conceitos de intraempreendedorismo e de empowermentcomo os principais elementos do clima organizacional necessários ao desenvolvimento do espírito empreendedor.Metodologia: O instrumento de coleta de dados foi o questionário, aplicado em 2010 para servidores de uma biblioteca universitária. No universo da pesquisa de 56 sujeitos, 36% dos questionários foram respondidos.Resultados: Os resultados permitem inferir que, de um total de dez características empreendedoras, três delas (estabelecimento de metas, riscos calculados e persuasão e redes de contatos) foram consideradas como pontos fracos nogrupo analisado. A constatação de que os profissionais pesquisados têm, no nível grupal, grau positivo favorável ao empreendedorismo-possuindo 70% de características empreendedoras pessoais positivas sugere que os mesmos podem auxiliar na inovação da unidade de informação se os gestores criarem um ambiente favorável ao intraempreendedorismo. Quanto ao clima organizacional, este foi considerado favorável à implementação do empowerment.Conclusões: As conclusões finais revelam que a unidade de informação pode ser beneficiada com a aplicação do empowerment, de forma a promover o espírito empreendedor, estando aberta para mudanças culturais rumo a uma Administração Empreendedora.
