Characterization and analysis of technical production in Brazil: a study based on patent registration

Resumo: Objective: present a picture of patent records registered in the curricular base of the Lattes Platform of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. Methodology: Initially, the process of selection, extraction and organization of the collected curricula is presented. Subsequently, the treatment of deposit numbers and their validation with records of international patent repositories, with Espacenet. And finally, the characterization of the collected and validated data set. Results: It was possible to obtain an overview of patent registrations in the Lattes Platform curricula, as the most representative areas of knowledge in the patent filing, as well as an overview of their proponents. Conclusions: The indicators raised highlight that the Lattes Platform, in addition to scientific information, has technological information, which can be retrieved and used as subsidies for research on technological development. Evidencing the active participation of higher education institutions in the national technological development.

Resultados: Fue posible obtener un panorama de los registros de patentes en los currículos de la Plataforma Lattes, como las áreas de conocimiento más representativas en el registro de patentes, así como un panorama de sus proponentes. Conclusiones: Los indicadores planteados destacan que la Plataforma Lattes, además de información científica, cuenta con información tecnológica, que puede ser recuperada y utilizada como subsidios para la investigación en desarrollo tecnológico. Evidenciar la participación activa de las instituciones de educación superior en el desarrollo tecnológico nacional.Objetivo: apresentar um retrato dos registros de patentes cadastrados na base curricular da Plataforma Lattes do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico. Metodologia: Inicialmente, é apresentado o processo de seleção, extração e organização dos currículos coletados. Posteriormente, o tratamento dos números de depósito e sua validação junto a registros de repositórios internacionais de patentes, com ao Espacenet. E por fim, a caracterização do conjunto de dados coletado e validado. Resultados: Foi possível obter um panorama dos registros de patentes nos currículos da Plataforma Lattes, como as áreas do conhecimento mais representativas no depósito de patentes, bem como uma visão geral dos seus proponentes. Conclusões: Os indicadores levantados destacam que a Plataforma Lattes além de informações científicas, possui informações tecnológicas, que podem ser recuperadas e utilizadas como subsídios para pesquisas sobre o desenvolvimento tecnológico.
