Web mentions: in search of webometric studies from a qualitative perspectiva

Resumo: Objective: Identify in the literature the studies of web mentions and their types of connections, in qualitative bias, in order to verify how web mentions are being analyzed through the proposed attributes. Methodology: Bibliographic and descriptive with qualitative approach. Data collection was performed in nine databases, national and international, comprised of databases of scientific journals and databases of theses and dissertations. Results: The study presented 19 papers that were in accordance with the established criteria, mostly published in a database of international scientific journals. It also revealed that the connections to analyze the web mentions are diverse, as well as the investigative characteristics of each web mention. Conclusions: The studies of web mentions, although they are still little studied in the field of webometry, have much to contribute to the area, because they have the possibility of research in various types of connections and analysis of characteristics.

Metodología: Bibliográfica y descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo. La recolección de datos se realizó en nueve bases de datos, nacionales e internacionales, que comprenden bases de datos de revistas científicas y bases de datos de tesis y disertaciones. Resultados: El estudio presentó 19 trabajos que estaban de acuerdo con los criterios establecidos, publicados principalmente en la base de datos de revistas científicas internacionales. También reveló que las conexiones para analizar las menciones web son diversas, así como las características de investigación de cada mención web. Conclusiones: Los estudios de menciones web, aunque todavía poco estudiados en el campo de la webometría, tienen mucho que aportar al área, ya que tienen la posibilidad de investigar varios tipos de conexiones y análisis de características.Objetivo: Identificar na literatura os estudos das menções web e seus tipos de conexões, no viés qualitativo, com a finalidade de verificar, como as menções web estão sendo analisadas por meio dos atributos propostos. Metodologia: Bibliográfica e descritiva com abordagem qualitativa. A coleta de dados foi realizada em nove bases de dados, sendo elas, nacionais e internacionais, compreendidas de bases de dados de periódicos científicos e base de dados de teses e dissertações. Resultados: O estudo apresentou 19 trabalhos que estavam de acordo com os critérios estabelecidos, publicados em sua maioria, em base de dados de periódicos científicos internacionais. Revelou também, que as conexões para analisar as menções web são diversificadas, bem como os as características investigativas de cada menção web.
