Resumo: | The objective of this article is to discuss emotional experiences of women who had fetal loss after twenty weeks of pregnancy, collected in field research. We used the clinical-qualitative method. The construction of the subject sample was intentional and closed by the information saturation criterion. We used the semistructured interview technique of open-ended questions with five women. Data treatment included: transcription of the interviews, free-floating readings and categorization in topics through content analysis. From qualitative analysis, four categories emerged: 1) "I received the news of the loss ..."; 2) "My son was born dead ..."; 3) "Why me?"; 4) "I feel so ...". It is identified the need to ensure that mothers and families to enter the perinatal grief process that will reflect on minimizing psychological damage. It should be prioritized a support by the health team involved, that considers the woman since the moment which is given to death news. |

Se utilizó el método clínico-cualitativo. La construcción de la muestra de sujetos fue intencional y cerrado por el criterio de la saturación de información. Se utilizó la técnica de entrevista semiestructurada de preguntas abiertas con cinco mujeres. El tratamiento de los datos incluyó: la transcripción de las entrevistas, lecturas de libre flotación y la categorización de los temas a través de análisis de contenido. A partir del análisis cualitativo, emergieron cuatro categorías: 1) "Recibí la noticia de la pérdida ..."; 2) "Mi hijo nació muerto ..."; 3) "¿Por qué yo?"; 4) "Me siento tan ...". Se identifica la necesidad de garantizar que las madres y las familias para entrar en el proceso de duelo perinatal que reflejará en minimizar el daño psicológico. Deberia ser priorizado por el apoyo del equipo de salud involucrado, que considere la mujer desde el momento en que se da las noticias de la muerte.O objetivo deste artigo é discutir vivências emocionais de mulheres que tiveram perda fetal após vinte semanas de gravidez, coletadas em pesquisa de campo. Utilizou-se o método clínico-qualitativo. A amostra de sujeitos foi intencional e fechada pelo critério de saturação de informações. Utilizou-se a técnica de entrevista semidirigida de questões abertas com cinco mulheres. O tratamento de dados incluiu: transcrição das entrevistas, leituras flutuantes e categorização em tópicos através de análise de conteúdo. Da análise qualitativa dos dados emergiram quatro categorias: 1) “Recebi a notícia da perda...”; 2) “Meu filho nasceu morto...”; 3) “Por que comigo?”; 4) “Eu me sinto assim...”. Identificou-se a necessidade de assegurar que as mães e familiares ingressem no processo de elaboração do luto perinatal que refletirá na minimização de prejuízos psicológicos.
