Three preliminary considerations on the concept of the death instinct

Resumo: This study aimed to frame the discussion on the concept of death instinct starting from parameters from here defended as fundamental. The paper discusses some of the views that tend to hinder the theoretical understanding of this controversial Freudian concept and in order to resolve them, concludes that at least three considerations must be computed in any discussion on the topic: 1) the use of Freud to biology is not given by the pursuit of form; 2) it is possible to conceptualize the death instinct in exclusively psychological terms; 3) the concept of death instinct is not reduced to a constructive teleology.

En el documento se analizan algunas de las opiniones que tienden a dificultar la comprensión teórica de este concepto freudiano polémica y con el fin de resolverlos, llega a la conclusión de que al menos tres consideraciones deben ser computado en cualquier discusión sobre el tema: 1) el uso de Freud la biología no es dado a la búsqueda de la manera, 2) es posible conceptualizar la pulsión de muerte exclusivamente en términos psíquicos, 3) el concepto de la pulsión de muerte no se reduce a una teleología constructiva.O presente trabalho objetivou enquadrar a discussão sobre o conceito de pulsão de morte a partir de parâmetros defendidos aqui como fundamentais.
